[L-USA] Baseball letterboxes?

From: Daniel Servatius (elf@pclink.com) | Date: 1999-04-06 20:07:15 UTC-05:00
I was wondering if anyone had thought of doing a
baseball letterbox: 1st base, 2nd, 3rd, Home, for instance. You could
have a bat for a stamp, perhaps a baseball, a glove and a diamond.
Just wondering...

Actually, I was contemplating something similar. I'd
hide a set of alphabet stamps in a given area, and the
clues would lead to them in a particular order so as
to spell something out. I though it might be
something my 8th grade students could do for fun near
the end of the year.

How about using 4 stamps which, when found placed together mosiac-like
in one combination, gave a rebus / pictorial clue for the final, 5th box
prize? Of course, a crafty clue mosiac would be put together many ways,
but only one would work!

Heh,heh,heh.

Erik,
I like the way you think!!!

I've been mulling over the idea for some time regarding a series of boxes
where the stamps combine to make a picture puzzle. You have taken this idea
even further with the idea of the puzzle pointing to yet another letterbox.
I think I can feel the inspiration welling up inside me at this very moment.
(Either that, or I'm pregnant.)
